Great Bromley Village Hall held its first Farmers Market on 22nd January 2011, where over 15 stalls were selling a selection of very high quality products at prices to compete very favourably with the large supermarkets. Products on sale included fresh fish, meats, cheeses, pates, homemade pickles, cakes and pies together with wood carvings, paintings and locally made jewellery.
Attendance was very good and the Hall made a significant amount from the day which went towards Hall funds. Further Farmers Markets were held during the year.
Update July 2012: Unfortunately, failure to support the stallholders has meant that the Farmers Market is no more.
