Great Bromley Village Hall is a comprehensive community facility that is available for hire by organisations and individuals from within and outside the village, subject to status. Built in the 1920s, it has been upgraded and extended in recent years to offer suitable accommodation for a wide range of activities and functions.
The Village Hall was gifted, via a trust deed, to the Parish of Great Bromley in 1946 by the Crossman family. Overall responsibility for the Hall is vested in Great Bromley Parish Council as custodian trustee. Routine management is undertaken by a management committee as stipulated in the trust deed.

Great Bromley Village Hall, Parsons Hill, Great Bromley, Colchester, Essex, CO7 7JA, England.
Situated in the Village of Great Bromley some six miles to the East of Colchester, the Hall stands beside the road known as B1029 (Parsons Hill) in the county of Essex. The British National Grid Reference is TM086253.
The Village Hall was built originally circa 1923 at the expense of (Sir) Percy Crossman of Great Bromley Hall
(now called the Seven Rivers Cheshire Home), on land which was part of Glebe Farm.
In 1946, the building and associated land was conveyed as a gift by Douglas Peter Crossman (son of the late Percy Crossman)
to Grantees to hold upon Trust for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Parish of Great Bromley.
In 1966 it was deemed desirable to vary the Trusts and powers set out in the 1946 conveyance and a Trust Deed
was drawn up in January 1967 modified by a Deed of Rectification in October 1967 to create the current Charity
under which the Village Hall (including the associated land) is held.
Great Bromley Parish Council is the custodian trustee.
